Jen, In Real Life

So the other day I saw the movie Dan, In Real Life. In an attempt to show how sad, lonely, and pathetic his life is, one of the shots at the beginning is of Dan lying on a big bed next to a stack of books which have obviously taken up permanent residence. I had to laugh when I realized that scene was an exact replica of my own bed. Should I be offended? What exactly are they trying to insinuate anyways?

Your bed already looks like that and you just got to Arizona? Geez. Hope the trip went well!

And does this post mean you already have homework to do?

Is it the same thing if my bed looks like that except it is covered with books by Dr. Seuss instead of college stuff? I think it should count too- I really feel like i need to be included in this.

Well, I was thinking about watching that show but if it's going to make me feel more lame I might change my mind. However, I love your blog, as always! -Jeni

Jen! How's med school treating you? Is the Arizona heat killing you yet? Be sure to check out my blog because I've started a new blog, one for people who like to read. I now you're going to be very busy with classes, but look at the recommendations, and feel free to post some yourself.

I totally remember that, too! And when you'd stay up all night to write a paper (every other night), you'd put the kitchen clock in the bathroom or our room because of the ticking. I remember meeting you for the first time and being so intimidated because I thought you were so cool and so unlike me. Funny that we needed each other to survive in that apartment! (wonder whatever happened to the rest of the roommates...)
